 WONDERFUL
CAMUNIA
Dust, smog, sulky sticky sky deny the sun rays the energy of
colours. Facing wonderful Camunia this state of things
surrenders and nature gets hold of its coloured essence once
more: fresh morning colours after the night storm, pure fair
colours after the wind painstaking wiping.
Wonderful Camunia, flown through by Oglio river lives its
unwrinkled age.
Sebino lake sparkling waters at its feet brighten this beauty
back. Raising your eyes gently from the waters, you discover
soft ridges followed by stronger marks highlighting gully
crests on the mountain sides. Green patches stand out, yellow
firs and red chestnuts lend villages their dash, rust rocks
and bare peaks loom up against the blue sky. Blue comes down
and goes along gullies and brooks, making rich the wide river,
all depositing into the lake.
These beauties shine in the fresh morning and the sun rays
celebrate the continuity rite every morning.
History here is like an everlasting tale.
Its far remote beginning has been passed down to us in the
simplest communicative way: signs graffiti in eternal rocks.
They speak to future a language shared by everyone and force
to tell and sing the destiny of mankind.
It is a delight to hand down customs and habits to posterity .
It is a rite, it is the fascinating charm of Camunia which
places confidence and continuity in its children.
